Dolphin show timings in Dubai

The Dolphinarium does not work like a museum with continuous opening hours. Most visitors come for a scheduled performance, so the times that matter are the show times. The table below lists the fixed daily programme as published in the ticket conditions and on the Dolphinarium's own website.

Not every slot is always on sale. When we checked a Friday in September 2026 on ClickToGuide, only the 6:00 PM show was bookable for that date, so look at the available times for your exact day before planning the rest of your itinerary around a particular slot.

Is Dubai Dolphinarium open today?

If today is Tuesday, no: the Dolphin and Seal Show and the bird show do not run on Tuesdays, and the other attractions in the building are also closed that day. On every other day of the week the shows are scheduled at the times above.

Public holidays, Ramadan and special events can shift schedules at many Dubai venues. We could not find a published holiday timetable for the Dolphinarium, so if your visit falls on a holiday, check the times shown for your date when booking before you go.

What time should you arrive for the dolphin show?

The venue asks all guests to arrive at least 45 minutes before showtime. In practice that means being at the ticketing counter by 1:15 PM for the 2:00 PM show, or by 5:15 PM for the 6:00 PM show.

Allow extra time on top of that for getting into Creek Park. You pass through the park gate first, where the AED 5 entry fee is paid, and then walk to the Dolphinarium building. Regular tickets are free seating, so arriving early also gives you a better choice of seats.

Best time to visit the Dolphinarium: 2:00 PM or 6:00 PM show?

Both shows are the same performance in the same air-conditioned arena, so the choice comes down to what else you plan to do.

• Choose the 2:00 PM show if you have young children who nap later or tire in the evening, or if you want the rest of the evening free elsewhere in the city.
• Choose the 6:00 PM show in the hotter months if you want to walk around Creek Park afterwards, when temperatures are lower than in the middle of the day.
• Pair the 2:00 PM dolphin show with the 3:15 PM bird show, or the 6:00 PM show with the 7:15 PM bird show, if you want to see both on one visit.
• At weekends and in holiday periods, arrive early for the best seats or consider VIP seats.

How long does a visit to Dubai Dolphinarium take?

The show itself lasts about 45 minutes; the booking page lists the whole activity at roughly one hour. Add the 45-minute arrival window and the time to walk in from the park gate, and a single show visit takes about two hours door to door from the park entrance.

If you add the Exotic Bird Show, a snack at the café or a walk through Creek Park, plan for half a day. The Dolphinarium itself suggests allowing at least a few hours. After the show you are free to leave or stay in the park.
